The adult education center Neustadt an der Weinstraße called for the photo competition with the motto "Discover Neustadt". The goal of this competition is to find new perspectives on the city and its wine villages and to collect surprising motifs. The closing date for the photographs is March 28, 2025. The best motifs will be presented in an exhibition in the collegiate church in May, which gives the winners the opportunity to present their perspectives to the public. In addition, the first three places receive vouchers for VHS courses of 100 euros, 75 euros and 50 euros.

Anyone who shows interesting, funny or undiscovered motifs who represent people, buildings or everyday scenes can be participated. It is important to ensure that the personal rights must be observed when mapping people. The VHS will cover the printing costs for the selected motifs. The winning photos will be awarded on May 4, 2025 for the opening of the exhibition. In this context, the event is organized in cooperation with the photo forum under the direction of Michael Gall, which should promote the exchange between the photographers and the interested parties.
