Police Aachen saves life: Baby is born in the car!

On Sunday morning, shortly after six o'clock, an extraordinary incident occurred in Aachen, which surprised both the police and residents' emergency services. At Monheimallee, a driver spoke to the police and reported that a heavily pregnant woman was in contractions on the back seat of his vehicle. The child's head was already visible, which required a quick and determined reaction from the officials. According to WDR , the police officers acted immediately and made space for the urgent concern with blue lights and Martinshorn.

There was no time to lose while driving to the hospital. The police had to drive at high speed to save the life of both the mother and the unborn child. Curiously, the emergency vehicle was also flashed during a speed control during the rapid journey. Ultimately, however, the baby was born in front of the clinic. After this emotional event, both mother and child could be reported.
