Arminia Bielefeld is in the promotion race for the 2nd Bundesliga at the season half and is urgently looking for reinforcements in the attack. According to media reports, the association is interested in Jannik Mause, the attacker of 1. FC Kaiserslautern. Mause, who was only signed by FC Ingolstadt for 600,000 euros in the summer of 2024, scored no goal in 12 league games this season and only gave two templates, which underlines his weak balance.

Mause currently has a contract with the 1st FC Kaiserslautern by 2027. In the previous season, he was able to look back on a strong performance with 18 goals in 33 games at FC Ingolstadt. In addition to the sporting events, Mause made headlines due to allegations of proximity to right -wing extremists. These allegations were discussed in a documentary that the mause can be seen in a video sequence with a person classified as a right-wing extremist. The 1. FC Kaiserslautern and Mause itself rejected the allegations. In a podcast, Mause distanced himself from the allegations and announced that he could not identify with right ideas.
