TSV Bonn triumphs in the local derby: HSG Siebengebirge in the crisis!

On March 9, 2025, TSV Bonn RRH remains. The number one in the region's handball. The team successfully won the second local derby against the HSG Siebengebirge-Thomasberg in the 19th matchday of the Regionalliga North Rhine. The game ended with 27:22 (13:12) for the TSV, which was able to stabilize his second place in the table.

The HSG Siebengebirge-Thomasberg continues to rank in eleventh place in the table and is therefore on a relegation zone. The course of the game was shaped by numerous technical mistakes and a lack of game flow, which offered the audience a changeable game.

In addition to the sporting successes, TSV Bonn announces a new initiative. On March 15, the including handball group "Handball Inclusive" starts, which is aimed at people with mental and/or physical impairment. The initiative was created from a request from the former department head Markus Achenbach and is accompanied by a group of supporters within the TSV.

With this new group, the association would like to enable children from the age of eight, adolescents and young adults to take a low -threshold participation in handball, which represents a further step towards promoting inclusion in sport.
