New Year's Eve in the Borken district: Fire brigade fights against consequences of fireworks!

During New Year's Eve 2023/2024, the situation in the district of Borken was mostly calm from the point of view of the emergency services. The fire brigade control center reported a manageable number of missions that took place especially in Ahaus and the surrounding area. There was a burning stack of wood in Ahaus, which was reported in Stadtlohn around 8.30 p.m. Residents deleted the fire before the fire brigade arrived.
