In an attractive new competition, European Minister Nathanael Liminski launched the "#AzuBigoeu" initiative on May 6, 2025 to offer trainees from North Rhine-Westphalia the opportunity to win one of 500 interrail tickets. This program not only promotes travel within Europe, but also the encounter of young people from different countries. Participation in the competition is possible until June 1, 2025 and includes answering quiz questions on the subject of Europe.Minister Liminski emphasizes the central importance of Europe, especially with regard to challenges such as competitiveness and international cooperation. In the past three years, around 1,000 trainees from North Rhine -Westphalia have participated in this program and benefited from the advantages of travel by Europe. conditions of participation and prices
The participants in the competition must be between 18 and 27 years old, attend a vocational or technical school in North Rhine-Westphalia and be a member of the EU. The winners of the competition can choose between two ticket variants:
- variant 1: trip for up to a month with unlimited train trips on seven days.
- variant 2: Daily unlimited train trips for up to 15 days.
After receiving your ticket, the winners have eleven months to start their trip. It is also expected that the participants will share their experiences on Instagram with the hashtag #azuBigoeu to share their experiences with others and to document the travel experiences.
