The workshop is aimed at young people between the ages of 8 and 18 who are faced with losses. The aim is to enable the participants to deal with their grief in a creative way. The event is instructed by grief attendants of the association and employees of Farbolz.

Coping with grief through creative forms of expression

The creative examination of grief is of great importance, especially for children and adolescents. Dealing with loss is often evident in play, painting or other active forms of expression. The Lacrima organization has set itself the task of offering grieving children and young people a protected environment in which they can share their feelings together.

In regular group lessons, the children learn rituals and learn to deal with their grief. Lacrima, which offers free support, is dependent on donations to maintain your offers. The organization pursues the goal of strengthening children and adolescents in their grief and giving them hope for a future worth living.

Financing and support for grieving children

Donations can be made in different ways, for example for art and painting therapy sessions or for the training of specialists. For example, an hour of art and painting therapy costs 20 euros. Lacrima is active at several locations in Germany, including in Augsburg, Dresden, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart. The support offers are implemented by a full -time project manager and numerous volunteers.
