Family fun in the knight's hall: colorful sound for the little ones!

In the Knights' Hall of Castle of Raesfeld, a special Family concert takes place on Sunday, February 9, 2025. Under the name "color", the two artists Elisaveta Ilina appear on the piano and Sönke Schreiber on Marimba and Pungeous. The event is aimed at girls and boys from the age of six and promises an expressive and humorous music program that is supposed to stimulate the imagination and feelings of the young listeners.

The children are actively involved in the concert, which is intended to increase the quality of experience of the event. According to the organizers, various unusual sounds, exciting instruments and rousing rhythms are the heart of the performance. The concert is organized by Kulturkreis Schloss Raesfeld e.V. . The support is carried out by the cultural community of the city of Borken e.V., which promotes cultural education in the region.

Entry and ticket information

The admission price is 12 euros for adults and 8 euros for children. Tickets are available online via the cultural group website. If you need more information, you can contact the Borken district's cultural department on 02861/681-4283. Press contact for questions is Leonie Dreier on 02861 / 681-2427.

In addition to this family concert, public rehearsals and concerts take place in the knight's hall on the same day. This includes the "color" concert at 5:00 p.m., which offers a diverse program, including pieces by Steffen Wick, color and George Gershwin. The success of such events depends not only on the quality of the performance, but also on the early involvement of children in cultural activities.

cultural education for children

Access to culture is a central topic that deals with many initiatives, such as the “Sinfonik for Kindergartens” project. The goal is to give children low -threshold access to culture. Dr. Katharina Uhsadel notes that access to culture depends heavily on the social and educational background of the families. Early cultural visits are crucial to promote later interest in culture.

statistics confirm that only 43% of music lessons at primary schools are made by trained music teachers, which indicates a high need for qualified specialists in the educational field. This was also addressed by Christoph Gotthardt, who demands more music qualification in the training of educators. Projects such as "Sinfonik up close!" already offer student concerts who arouse great interest in cultural activities and bring children in direct contact with symphony orchestras.

In view of this, the upcoming "color" concert is not only a musical highlight, but also an important step in the promotion of cultural participation for the youngest members of our society.
