Bottrop celebrates: Summer Open Air brings comedy and music on stage!

On March 4, 2025, the Bottroper Zeitung announces an exciting upcoming event: the "Summer Open Air by Chadi", which will take place on May 23 and 24. The event takes place on the site of the Ostermann furniture center in Bottrop and promises a varied program for all visitors.

On Friday, comedy and cabaret are offered with well -known artists such as Markus Krebs and Rebel Tell. Saturday is all about hit music, with appearances by Oli P., Mike Leon Grosch, Jörg Bausch, Daniel Lopes and Ina Colada. The initiative of this open-air event is largely supported by the Rottmann car dealership, which acts as an important partner and sponsor. Another highlight in the Bottrop event calendar is the district festival "Sommer Open Air", which will take place on June 8th on the Boyer Marktplatz. The official opening takes place by Mayor Bernd Tischler at 10 a.m. This is the second implementation after pandemic and the fourth edition as a whole.
