Six open Sundays: Bottrop celebrates with festive events!
On April 8, 2025, the City Council of Bottrop gave approval for a total of six open Sundays. This decision is intended to support the local economy and offer the citizens and visitors of the city attractive shops.
The first Sunday open will take place in Kirchhellen during the May Festival. This festival takes place from May 2 to 4 on Johann-Breuker-Platz. On Sunday, May 4th, the shops are open in this context between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. A colorful stage program with music and various talks is to be expected, which should provide additional incentive.
