Fair-traded invite you in Coesfeld: Future secured and new opportunities!

The fairly traded shop in the Natz-Thier-Haus in Coesfeld remains at the location and is continued beyond the originally planned test phase. This decision was made by the city's main committee after the test phase, which was to run until mid -August 2025, was known. Under the new decision, the store may continue to use the area available to it, but is not permitted to enlarge the sales area. This reports Radio Kiepenkerl .

The area that was previously used by the art and cultural workshop is also re-awarded. The city plans to talk to potential interested parties. What is new is that the new users will receive operating and energy costs for a test phase of one year. In order to optimize the limits of future use, a sliding door should be installed that enables flexible use of the gallery for both parties. Whether the cost of this sliding door will be covered by the city is treated in the council meeting on Thursday, April 10th.

The range of the fair trade shop

The fair-traded shop offers a wide range of products that mainly come from bio cultivation.
