In the district of Coesfeld, an innovative project for promoting solar energy is launched. The administration there plans to train citizens to become solar consultants in order to offer homeowners comprehensive information on the installation of solar power plants. The training courses are carried out in cooperation with the non-profit association Metropolisolar, which has launched over 60 citizens' solar consultant groups in Germany since 2021.
