Music leisure at Nordkirchen Castle: Register now and join in!

The music leisure offers various ensembles and creative activities to meet the different skills and interests:

• A symphony orchestra for advanced musicians from around 13-14 years
• An inclusive orchestra for participants from the age of 10 with about two years of teaching experience
• groups for high and deep strings
• an open choir for all
• Creative and sporting activities to promote the community

In addition, information on specific participation requirements must also be observed, especially for the symphony orchestra that requires at least five years of lessons and orchestral experience.

The number of participants is limited to 82 people , with criteria such as instrument, musical performance and age to choose from participants. The cost contribution is 240.00 EUR for young people from the Coesfeld district and 260.00 EUR for participants from outside. Further discounts are also available, for example 150.00 EUR for participants with the support of livelihood and 20.00 EUR discount for every additional child of a family.

The journey to the music leisure takes place on 11. August 2025 from 10:00 a.m. with a greeting at 11:00 a.m. . After an exciting week, the departure on 17. August 2025 after breakfast and the key return at 11:00 a.m. . The accommodation takes place directly on the castle area, which offers the participants a unique ambience.

It should be noted that each participant should bring their own instruments, grades and personal objects such as clothing and toilet needs. Furthermore, an accident and liability insurance is required for the participants, but no insurance is provided for instruments.
