Dortmund is progressing: Free drinking water dispenser for everyone!

In Dortmund, a new and promising pilot project for the provision of free drinking water is launched. Dortmund already has 31 drinking fountains that have been available in various districts since 1987 and also offer free access to drinking water. These wells are regularly serviced by the Dortmund Stadtwerke (DEW21), but they are not in operation due to weather conditions in the winter months. The new project could not only expand access to water, but also serve as a model for municipal initiatives in other cities.
