After regular stays in Sweden during the Corona period, the desire to live there in the long term matured. In the Easter holidays 2022, the decision was made: either you will find a house, or the topic of emigration is put. Shortly afterwards, the family accidentally discovered a house in southern Sweden that was just on the market and completed the purchase within just two days. The move finally took place in the summer of 2022, and Bianka has shared her experience on Instagram.

In the Swedish education system, the child is viewed as an individual, which is a significant difference to the German system. While grades are already being awarded in Germany from primary school, this is only done in Sweden from class 6. Bianka notes that the classes are smaller and there is a positive learning atmosphere. Swedish students are praised more often and experience fewer disciplinary measures.

The Swedish school system

Another advantage of the Swedish system is the variety of subjects offered. These include practical subjects such as works, housekeeping and technology. In addition, there are hardly any homework and all materials are provided by the school. Bianka's personal experiences show that their children quickly settled into the new environment. While the youngest son experienced the simplest adaptation, the older daughters needed a little longer to get used to the more demanding school material.
