The beach bar in the Wischlingen Revierpark in Dortmund has experienced a fresh revision and opened its gates on the last weekend in April (April 26 and 27, 2025) under the new name "Pilina Beach". This reports Ruhr24 . Initiator and operator Steffen Eich, already known for the nearby adventure golf course, has set itself the goal of significantly improving the strand experience in Dortmund. A comprehensive renovation of the building complex and the introduction of an innovative gastronomy concept creates an atmosphere that is reminiscent of a "beach club in the south".

The new location offers a variety of amenities. An 80 square meter covered terrace, combined with a total of around 300 seats in different variants, creates an inviting ambience. The gastronomy will expand the offer of snacks and drinks to a varied restaurant offer with bowls, pizza and burgers. Local classics such as currywurst and fries will also be found on the menu, which represents another step towards a year -round gastronomy.
