New year, new stars: Leverkusen welcomes fans during night training!

Bayer 04 Leverkusen starts the new year with a special measure. The team under the direction of coach Xabi Alonso begins to prepare for the residual round of the Bundesliga with a night training on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Ulrich Haberland Stadium. This training is open to the fans who can welcome the team. Simon Rolfes, sports boss of Leverkusen, described the training session as an excellent opportunity for the supporters to support their players.

The decision for night training was made to optimally use the short vacation time. License director Thomas Eichin said that the late time of the unit also helps with travel planning. Bayer Leverkusen plans to start the Bundesliga return round against Borussia Dortmund after the winter break on January 10th.

test game and player transfers

A test game against the regional league team RW Oberhausen is scheduled for Sunday at 12 p.m. in the Haberland Stadium. The tickets for this encounter are already sold out. Due to the tight schedule, Leverkusen decided to do without a training camp before the first point game.

In addition, Bayer 04 Leverkusen hired 18-year-old Argentine striker Alejo Sarco. The player changes from Vélez Sarsfield and signed a contract until 2030. According to a report by the Bild newspaper, Sarco is planned as a new alternative to Patrik Schick and Victor Boniface. The change is to be officially announced around the turn of the year, as reported by Rundschau-online.de.
