Rheinbahn strike brings Düsseldorf to a standstill: 96 hours of chaos!
From March 10th to March 13th, 2025, a full -day warning strike in local public transport is announced in Düsseldorf, which was launched by the unions. The strike lasts a total of 96 hours and is therefore 48 hours longer than originally planned. It starts on Monday at 3 a.m. and ends on Friday, March 14th, around 4 a.m. All subways, trams and most of the Rheinbahn bus lines are affected. The network in adjacent areas such as the district of Mettmann and Meerbusch, as well as connections to Duisburg, Krefeld, Neuss and Ratingen are also affected by the failures, such as Tonight.de
The Rheinbahn customer center remains closed during the strike.
