From shooting star to the bank press: Jermaine Nischhalke without goals!

Jermaine Nischhalke, who is considered a promising footballer, has been observed in more detail in the last few months. The 21-year-old striker, who was previously a fan favorite at Borussia Dortmund (BVB), had a difficult time in the Bundesliga. Although his loan to Dortmund began in August 2023 and many fans ensured a hype with the purchase of his jerseys and singing his name, Nischhalke could not convince during his time at BVB. He did not score a single goal and finally became a bench press, which led to being removed from the squad. Nischhalke, born on March 26, 2003, went through a variety of youth academies, including Berliner SC, Hertha Zehlendorf, Union Berlin and Dynamo Dresden. In 2020 he moved to Chemnitz FC, where he made his debut in 2021 and scored his first goal in the Regionalliga Northeast. After a stay at 1. FC Magdeburg, where he had no missions for the first team, he switched to 1. FC Nürnberg in 2022. There he was promoted to the first team after 18 missions for the reserve, in which he scored 9 goals and 5 templates. In December 2022, Nischhalke signed his first professional contract with Nuremberg.

After his loan to Borussia Dortmund II, he followed a one -year contract with FC 08 Homburg in June 2024. Despite his young years, Nischhalke remains an interesting perspective, especially since he also has the potential to represent Angola at an international level. He was appointed to the Angolan national team in November 2022, but later rejected the nomination without specifying a reason.
