On Sunday, a tragic car accident occurred on the 44 federal highway in North Rhine-Westphalia, which attracted the attention of the police and rescue workers. The accident occurred between the Jülich-West and Aldenhoven junctions and led to a special incident in which a horse lost his life.

The accident was extremely complex: two vehicles collided during a change of lane, one of which was a car with a horse trailer.
