On February 15, 2025, the Carneval Club Eichelsachsen (ECC) looks back on a proud tradition of 44 years. The association, which was founded in 1981, is planning a special series of events as part of its anniversary campaign that are not only dedicated to celebrating the anniversary, but also on the tradition of the carnival in the community.

A total of four events are planned in the community center. With these events that play a central role in the cultural life of the region, the 280 available tickets were sold out within a very short time. It is particularly noteworthy that the event technology is organized by the ECC itself, including a live band that ensures musical accompaniment. The Elferrat, which takes a special position during the sessions, sits above the stage, which distinguishes it from many other events in the large community.

The annual children's meetings, which have been part of the program since 1983, are very popular with younger visitors. This special session takes place on March 4, 2025 and has the advantage that admission is free. The experienced costume cutter Irmgard Konrad, who has contributed to the success of the campaign for many years, is one of the creatives that contribute to the preparation of the events.

The program is not only designed by the men's guard, which has been committed for a decade, who, as a show dance group, also strives for national championships, but also from older active people who continue to contribute their experiences. Nevertheless, it can be observed that their number gradually drops. Active members like Brunhilde Weber successfully fight this trend and enrich the stage with their share.

The official anniversary campaign of the ECC begins on February 22, 2025 with a double event. In the afternoon, the tensioner session for older people and residents takes place, while a large carnival party for the younger audience is celebrated in the evening. Cologne, Düsseldorf and Mainz are the most famous strongholds of the German Carnival, where colorful costumes and magnificent removals are celebrated. The separations between carnival, carnival and Fastnacht show the variety of regional traditions.
