Climbing Park Hamm opened: New attractions for adventurous!
The Hamm climbing park celebrates the start of the summer season on Saturday, April 5. After intensive maintenance work in the winter months, the park awaits its visitors with a freshly renovated offer, which includes the popular sled, which was replaced by new elements. The climbing park extends over around 20,000 square meters and offers a total of seven course that are based on the body size and the skills of the guests. Particularly noteworthy are the numerous rope slides that round off the offer.

The number of visitors to the climbing park has been increasing continuously for over ten years, and last year the park recorded high number of visitors over many days. Not only locals, but also day trippers from the Ruhr area and Münsterland find their way to Hamm.

climbing as learning and play promotion
climbing players and climbing course are not only popular playgrounds, they also promote important skills in children. Climbing improves coordination, concentration and enables fears to be overcome. These activities strengthen large muscle groups and increase the ability to learn. As Inka Freienpaum projects show, climbing players are available in different variants and suitable for all age groups. Everything is represented from high -quality materials such as robinia and stainless steel to low -maintenance and durable constructions.
The design of the climbing devices fulfills the DIN standard 1176 for playground equipment and is TÜV certified, which guarantees the safety of the small climbers. These devices can not only be an addition to a playground concept, but also a complete system that is adapted to the needs of children and adolescents.
In the context of the Ruhr area, which offers a variety of family -friendly excursion destinations, the Hamm climbing park is excellent. Whether the Zeche Zollverein in Essen, the Sea Life Oberhausen or the Duisburg North landscape park, the region is rich in adventures. Climbing parks like the one in Hamm expand the spectrum of leisure opportunities for families enormously and at the same time promote the motor skills of the children.
With the opening of the climbing park, nothing stands in the way of an exciting and active summer. The urban area offers numerous opportunities for relaxation, movement and joint experience of nature, sport and game.
