On April 24, 2025, the crime film "Murder in Vienna: The Last Bite" will be broadcast on the ARD at the best time. The story develops quickly when Nassau is flown directly to the crime scene with a helicopter from the family lock, while Malzer is with a visit to the outdoor pool. During the search of Ehrlacher's apartment there is a fatal incident when Nassau shoots an attacker with tattoos from an East Mafia organization. When the two murder victims are autopsy, it becomes clear that they are also provided with such tattoos. This connection gives the investigators suspected that the murders could be related to organized criminal activities.

The investigation by Nassau and Malzer find their context against the background of active clan wars in Europe. In particular, the rival Montenegrin clans "Kavac" and "Skaljari" have been involved in a bloody conflict since 2014, which has already requested around 80 fatalities. This conflict originated from the theft of 200 kilograms of cocaine in Valencia. During the winter of 2018, for example, a murder was carried out in front of the well -known Viennese local Figlmüller, which further tightened the tensions between the clans. The Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) also revealed several failed murder plot in Vienna.
A special focus was on a planned double murder in the spring of 2020, which was to be implemented with a car bomb and Colombian contract killers. However, the attack failed due to the technical problems of the bomb builder, so that the target persons could escape unscathed. Chat messages, which were ensured as part of the "Achilles Operation", showed that civilian victims should also be consciously accepted to fulfill the orders.
