Today, on January 22, 2025, the “Crash Course NRW” traffic prevention course takes place at the Grünstraße Realschule in Hattingen. Around 90 young people take part in this event, which deals with the serious consequences of traffic accidents. The initiative aims to draw young people aware of the dangers in road traffic and to sensitize them to responsible behavior. In addition to the police, rescue workers and psychosocial support are also involved in the event.

The course includes urgent descriptions of real traffic accidents, which often fatal. These representations should show the young people the severity and potential consequences of careless driving behavior.
