Police up close: new episodes of night -time tires from Hamburg!
The ARD documentary series "Night Strip" has published five new episodes that offer an authentic insight into the work of the Hamburg police. These new episodes have been available in the ARD media library since December 30, 2024 and give the viewers a look at the operations in the Hanseatic city with over 1.9 million inhabitants.
In the new episodes, ten civil servants from various special units are accompanied. These include the David Guard on St. Pauli, the water protection police in the port of Hamburg, the criminal service service and the protective police of the Commissioner Hamm and Bergedorf. The aim of the documentary series is to show the broad spectrum of police work, which extends from special operations after use of firearms to prostitution fraud and predatory offenses to everyday inserts such as disturbances and narcotics.

The missions are documented and supplemented by subsequent interviews with the civil servants. In these interviews, the police reflect on their approach and dealing with alleged injured, accused and witnesses. The civil servants' own need for action and the experience of the civil servants are also topics of these discussions.
The new episodes show three teams of the protective police: Lena Priebusch (40) and Christian Werner Dorn (36) from the Davidwache, Caren Loose (27) and Dennis Wolff (35) from the police commissioner 43 in Hamburg-Bergedorf, as well as Kathrin Mosor (29) and Sebastian Fuchs (39) from the police commissioner 41 in Hamburg-Hamm. The criminal service is represented by Katrin Kernig (41) and Michael Walther (42), while for the first time the water protection police with Sarah Prüsmann (43) and Danny Koch (48) can be seen in the "Night Strip".
The fourth season of the "night -time tap" is produced by Company LS Media GmbH on behalf of the NDR. The television exposure takes place on January 8, 2025 from 10:00 p.m. to 10:45 p.m., as ndr.de reported. The Hamburg police also announced that the new episodes of the documentary series will offer exciting insights into the various facets of police work: " Hamburg "informed about the thematic focus of the current season, which as usual addresses in a big city.
