Safe-Boxx opens new hall: packaging revolution in Uentrop!

In the Uentrop industrial estate, a new chapter has opened up in the packaging industry. The company Safe-Boxx recently opened the growing requirements of the To meet agricultural machinery manufacturers Claas. The new production facility is only about 500 meters from the Claas logistics center and is part of a comprehensive expansion plan to significantly expand the company's capacities.

The managing director Mustafa Terken has managed to expand the company from the beginning of four to around 40 employees since the foundation of Safe-Boxx in 2013. This contributes to producing around 50,000 boxes and boxes annually, with Claas Service and Parts GmbH being the main customer, in which Terken previously worked for 16 years. To close a gap in the market, Safe-Boxx was founded after the packaging company Mense had to register bankruptcy.

investments and sustainable technologies

The development of the new hall was accompanied by several challenges. The start of construction was delayed due to the Corona pandemic and increased construction prices until 2024. Nevertheless, the production hall was built in just 18 days and was officially opened on March 28, 2025. The hall comprises around 800 square meters and contains important manufacturing areas as well as machines that are mainly designed for the production of wood packaging.

It is particularly noteworthy that Safe-Boxx also attaches importance to sustainability. Wood waste that arises in the production process is processed into briquettes in a briquette press that are used to heat the operation. In addition, the hall is severely insulated and equipped with a photovoltaic system that covers a large part of the electricity requirement. In total, around one million euros have already been invested in the new location, with plans to build three similar halls in the future, which could increase the number of employees up to 70.

innovative packaging solutions

In addition to the developments in Uentrop, Safe-Boxx's products are also of great importance. The full-fledged Safe-BOISX® was specially designed for the quick loading of accidentally and presented for the first time at the IFBA trade fair in Kassel in 2021. It is used on different vehicle types, including roll -off buttons and towing plateaus, and enables safe and quick handling. A special feature is the sealing of all openings, which enables the flood of the extinguishing room up to a height of 1.2 meters and thus enables control over lithium-ion batteries.

The need for innovative packaging solutions is reinforced by the growing environmental awareness. The industry is increasingly revising its packaging strategies to become more environmentally friendly. sustainable packaging address the challenges of climate change and environmental crises. Innovative approaches such as biodegradable materials and reusable packaging are just a few measures that can contribute to reducing packaging waste.

Overall, the development of Safe-Boxx not only represents significant economic progress for the Uentrop region, but also a commitment to sustainable packaging solutions that meet the requirements of modern industry.
