A tragic scene flipped on Holy Saturday in the Maximare adventure term in Hamm, North Rhine-Westphalia. Around 2:30 p.m., a six -year -old boy drowned in the water of the popular fun pool. The incident happened in the immediate vicinity of a lifeguard who was alerted by a bathing guest who discovered the child who was lifeless under water. The DLRG statistics also show that more men drown than women, with 311 male and 90 female bathing deaths facing. Children and adolescents also make up a worrying part of the total number, since 28 out of a total of 411 bathing deaths fall into this age group.The DLRG points out that older people should pay particular attention to taking a cool bath in hot weather, as this can be stressful. This knowledge also extends to younger people who already have previous illnesses. The dramatic incidents in swimming pools and waters are therefore a serious warning signal for all bathers.
