Husting hustle and bustle in NRW: Sundays open for sales and spring festivals!
On March 30, 2025, a Sunday open in North Rhine-Westphalia took place, which attracted numerous visitors to the region's shops. The date fell on a weekend when the time change to summer time also took place. Despite the changeover, the shops were open in many cities and offered a varied program.

- Bad Salzuflen: Under the motto "Bad Salzuflen blooms", business opened from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The program included hands -on activities for children and adolescents, health offers in the spa park and entertainment on several stages.
- Beckum-Neubeckum: Here there was an active festival, which also offered numerous actions and a show stage for all age groups.
- Dormagen: The Easter market opened at 11 a.m., while the shops were open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. A family program was offered with carousels, face painting and an Easter egg hunting, supplemented by a historic tour and an egg-diasch championship.
- Gelsenkirchen-Horst: at the spring festival and creative market, the shops could be visited until 6 p.m. and the market until 7 p.m. Handmade products and handicrafts were presented here.
- Gescher: A spring festival with an automobile exhibition (GAA) started at 11 a.m. and ended at 6 p.m. Visitors were able to look forward to a vehicle exhibition, hobby artist and snack stands.
- Greven: The "Grevener Spring" offered entertainment for the whole family. The shops were open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., a flea market took place from 12 noon to 5 p.m.
- Heinsberg: The 27th industrial festival presented various car brands and offered a free shuttle service, a street market and bouncy castles.
- Jülich: at the 18th spring festival, the shops were visited from 1pm to 6pm, supplemented by a spring fair with rides and stands.
- Rheine: under the motto "Rheine Mobil. Off in the spring" the shops were also open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. A special highlight was the Street Food Music Festival from 12 noon to 6 p.m. and the presentation of car models.
- Vlotho: The city offered numerous spring offers as well as fair activities under the Weser Bridge from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The city and the surrounding area experienced a modern spring start that strengthened both retail and the community. The excellent organization and the varied offer provided a positive mood and many radiant faces.
