Collecting Christmas tree in Gangelt: young and old pack!

On January 6, 2025, the volunteer fire brigade of the Gangelt municipality published an official message about the upcoming Christmas tree campaign of the youth fire brigade. This campaign takes place on January 11, 2025 and is intended to offer citizens the opportunity to give up their decorated Christmas trees free of charge. The trees should be placed on the side of the road until 9:00 a.m. to ensure the safety in road traffic. It is pointed out that the trees are not allowed to hinder traffic.

The collected Christmas trees are recycled and recycled by a disposal company. The youth fire brigade receives a small compensation from the Gangelt community for collecting the trees that is used to finance youth work. This information was published by the volunteer fire brigade at 10:18 p.m.
