Cellar fire in Kleve: Fire brigade saves all residents from having a risk of smoke!

on March 29, 2025, at 8:10 a.m., the Klezen and Kleve fire trucks were alerted to a basement fire in Meißnerstrasse in Kleve. The apartment building, in which the incident took place, houses seven parties. According to News.de, a thicker, visible smoke was observed, which indicated a dangerous situation. Fortunately, all residents were able to leave the building in good time, and no medical treatment was required.

The fire brigade used two respiratory protection teams to extinguish the fire that had broken out due to cardboard boxes in the basement. In the meantime, the building was ventilated to minimize smoke development. Due to damage to the sub -distribution in the basement, the energy supplier was necessary. The entire use lasted about 1.5 hours, under the direction of city fire inspector Ralf Benkel. The official report about the incident was sent by the Kleve fire brigade on the same day at 10:46 p.m.

A similar incident occurred in Hamburg on Tuesday night, where a basement fire broke out in a four -story apartment building on the “Busbrookhöhe” street. This incident led to injuries to three people, including a four -year -old girl who suffered slight smoke poisoning. The strong smoke development prevented several residents from leaving the building over the stairwell, which made the fire brigade able to save six people with a turntable ladder from the balconies.

The Hamburg police have started the cause of the fire, while fortunately the situation in Kleve went out lightly. The fire brigade was able to prevent worse by quick action and ensured that all residents remained unharmed.
