Cherry blossom magic in Kleve: A festival for the whole family!

On Saturday, April 12, 2025, this year's cherry blossom festival takes place in Kleve under the motto "Kirschblüte kiss Kleve". The event organized by the economy, Tourismus & Marketing Stadt Kleve GmbH begins at 1 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m. The venue is picturesque on the Kermisdahl, directly under the flowering cherry trees.

The program promises a varied experience for the whole family. The artist association "Proclivity for Art" will carry out a live painting campaign, while the beekeeping association Materborn offers exciting insights into the world of bees. Visitors can also purchase decorative items from the Deckers private garden and buy cherry blossom cups and cherry blossom liqueur offered by WTM.

There are numerous activities for the little guests, including face painting through the SOS Children's Village and an art project for children, led by artist Iris Hottgenroth. A bouncy castle and the handicrafts of birdhouses with the scouts of the Klever Klippen eagles round off the offer.

Musically, the event is accompanied by the band Stilles Tortchen and the Duo Honeybird, consisting of Maya and Bastian Vogel. The guests also get their money's worth: homemade cakes from the Clever Ruder Club e.V., hearty snacks from snacks from Burke and Bea's tarte flambee, Poffertjes from the biscuit box and homemade ice cream from the Ülebüdchen Dellnitz are on the menu. Drinks are offered by Goldkost and Caffe Piccolo as well as wine and sparkling wine from Peters Schlossbergkellerei.

For picnic fans, space and seating on the meadow are prepared under the cherry trees, which creates a relaxed atmosphere.

The cherry blossom festival should not be confused with the traditional cherry blossom festival, which will take place on April 15, below the Schwanenburg, on the banks of the Kermisdahl, Höhe Worcester Brücke.
