Hochschulage 2025: Future of education in focus in Paderborn!

The University of Paderborn will organize the 23rd university "vocational training" from March 17th to 19th, 2025. Under the motto "sustainable - digital - equivalent. Future scenarios of work, education and profession" are invited to experts in vocational training to discuss current developments and challenges in this area. This event is aimed at actors from school, company, science and politics.

The congress is made by Prof. Dr. Dietmar Heisler, head of the educational science AG with a focus on vocational pedagogy at the University of Paderborn. Elke Büdenbender takes over the patronage and will also take part in a panel discussion. Around 1,000 participants are expected, which makes the university days one of the largest nationwide formats for exchange between science, practice and politics. Registration for participation is possible until March 2, 2025.

The university days "Vocational Education" have a long tradition, because they have been taking place every two years at changing locations since 1980. In the past few years, the event took place in the University of Bamberg in 2023, before that in Siegen and Cologne. The congress not only promotes networking and exchange, but also the research and knowledge transfer in the field of vocational training.
