Eisbears Regensburg fight in overtime and secure important points!

In the relegation battle of the DEL2, the Eisbären Regensburg were able to secure an important point against the Krefeld Penguine on January 20, 2025. The game ended 2: 3 to Overtime, whereby the guests from Krefeld were able to take the lead through a strong performance and ultimately strengthen the second table position with their additional point. The meeting took place in front of 4378 spectators in the Regensburg arena, including about 100 fans from Krefeld.

However, the penguins could not be kept down and brought back the decisive additional point in the extension. Lucas Lessio scored in the 63rd minute, which ended the game with a final score of 3: 2 for Krefeld. The penalty minutes were documented for Regensburg and 12 for Krefeld.
