Nico Klaß extends contract: RWO captain remains in Oberhausen for three years!

Rot-Weiß Oberhausen has announced that captain Nico Klaß has extended his contract by three years. This was officially announced on Christmas Eve. The 27-year-old central defender, who came to Oberhausen from TV Jahn Hiesfeld in 2018, has played 40 competitive games at the association before moving to Eintracht Braunschweig in 2020.

At Eintracht Braunschweig, Klaß was used in 15 games, but returned to Oberhausen after one year, where he immediately acted as a regular player. He had to take a long injury break last season.
