Mettmann chooses: What events should be immortalized at the monument?
The Neanderthal-Stadt working group called up the citizens of Mettmann to take part in the vote on the “reminder” of 2024. This option still exists until April 30, 2025. The Mettmanners can vote on 14 different suggestions that represent significant events of the past year. The vote takes place conveniently online via the urban homepage at www.mettmann.de .
The selection includes a number of interesting events that shape the history and culture of the city. Among other things, the 600th anniversary of freedom rights in Mettmann and the 100th anniversary of the Mettmann automobile club will be available. The sporting success of the rudderin Leonie Menzel, who won bronze at the Olympic Games, is also an issue. With participation in the vote, there is not only the possibility to have a say in the fortunes of the city, but also the chance of material prices.
