On the occasion of the district cup final day in the Eugen-Haas-Halle, the two banks each presented a donation check for 2,000 euros. These funds are intended for the training of young referees who play a crucial role in handball. Udo Kolpe, Oberberg's handball manager, emphasized that the Oberberg handball district has been working actively on the recruitment of arbitrators for years. "We have to make sure that the referee training is continuously promoted," he said. In the last three training courses, a total of 58 new referees were won. In addition, the young referees are accompanied by regular referee coaches in their first missions in the youth leagues who give valuable feedback and tips.
