Does the Benedictine inn close forever? Dortmund in concern!
The "Benedictine Wirtshaus" at Friedensplatz in Dortmund announced its closure in autumn 2024. In a note at the entrance door, information is informed about a planned reopening in 2025. The announcement is aimed at customers and asks for patience during the preparations. The restaurant had previously received an average of 4.4 Google stars from 858 reviews (as of September 20). The last review praised the Bavarian cuisine and dates from September 15th.
The inn opened in April 2021 and took over the place of an Asian restaurant. In addition, Berissima GmbH operated another tavern in Attendorn, which was terminated in early September due to outstanding lease payments. In Attendorn, the city announced that it would like to create a new gastronomy offer as soon as possible. It is noteworthy that the newly opened "Takumi" restaurant in Dortmund has also closed, as
