The 35th district hall master of the FLVW Kreis Olpe e.V. was held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, in the triple gymnasium in Finnentrop. The tournament was hosted by SG Finnentrop/Bamenohl, which was again a favorite. With an impressive appearance, the team secured the trophy for the third time in a row, a performance that was greatly recognized in the club environment.

Around 300 spectators were present this Sunday. In particular, the fans of Eintracht Kleusheim stood out with their loud support, which contributed significantly to the mood in the hall. The event started at 12:00 p.m., and the visitors were constantly pointed out to comply with the emergency routes, while they were able to use the parking facilities around the Backhaus sports center of FC Finnentrop.

The participating teams are made up of the best teams of the hall trophies at the municipal level and the previous year's winner. The tournament started with two group phases; The best two teams of each group qualified for the semi -finals. In group A, SC Drolshagen, FC Langenei/Kickenbach, RW Osttrop/Schönholthausen and SC LWL 05, while Group B from FSV Gerlingen, SV Brachthausen/Wirme, the SG Finnentrop/Bamenohl existed and SV Eintracht Kleusheim.

After an exciting preliminary round, the following teams eliminated early: FC Langenei/Kickenbach, RW Ostentrop/Schönholthausen, SV Brachthausen/Wirme and SV Eintracht Kleusheim. In the semifinals, SC Drolshagen prevailed with a clear 6-0 against FSV Gerlingen, while SG Finnentrop/Bamenohl defeated the SC LWL 05 with 5: 1

For the audience there was also an exciting game for third place between the teams FSV Gerlingen and SC LWL 05, which ended in a nerve-wracking nine-meter shooting with a result of 4: 5.

The tournament organization went smoothly, and the participants appreciated the clear structure, which was also recorded in the tournament regulations. The game was played according to the rules of the Football and Athletics Association of Westphalia, whereby special requirements for the balls used and the game conditions were observed.

The SG Finnentrop/Bamenohl not only convinced with this title win, but also proved that it is able to successfully manage a major event as an organizer. This underlines the importance of the Krombacher district cup for the regional football culture in Olpe.
