Sparkasse supports sports clubs: new coaches for Olpe and the surrounding area!
The Sparkasse Olpe-Drolshagen-Wenden has a comprehensive sport initiative under the motto "Training meets specialist knowledge-now becoming a coach in the club!" carried out. Six local associations took part in this funding program, which aimed to win new trainers and thus expand the range of sports and leisure in the region. The participating clubs include the Ju-Jutsu Club Olpe, the Hünsborn Air Sports Association, SV BW Hillmicke, TTC Wenden, SpVG Iseringhausen and TuS 09 Drolshagen.
The initiative was equipped with a budget of a total of 10,000 euros, of which almost 7,000 euros were distributed to the clubs involved. These funds should help to facilitate the financial and personal effort associated with the training of members into coaches. Wilhelm Rücker, a board member of the Sparkasse, emphasized the importance of this support for the clubs and emphasized that the donations made a decisive difference in the process.
Support for new trainers
A central goal of the sports initiative was to extract new trainers. Participation in the program required proof of the non -profit organization of the clubs. The initiative motivated both long -term and young members to be trained as coaches. This offers the possibility to enrich the sports offer in the clubs and introduce new activities.
The application for funding was made via the regional donation platform "Wirwunder". This platform enables the clubs to submit donations in a simple way and to apply for the necessary funds for training. Thanks to the successful initiative, 17 prospective coaches have already started their training in the new year, which is a positive step towards a stronger club structure and more diverse sports offers.
The Sparkasse Olpe-Drolshagen-Wenden shows with this sport initiative how regional engagement bears fruits in the promotion of sport and community life. The financial incentives and structural support enable the clubs to expand their offers and to enrich the sports landscape in the region.
The initiative "Training meets specialist knowledge" is an example of how important it is to work together to promote sport at the local level and to provide the necessary resources to create a dynamic and diverse club landscape.
