On January 10, 2025, Dietmar Lange was awarded a special honorary title by Lange Bürotechnik in Olpe: the Golden Master's Letter. The ceremonial handover took place in his shop on Bruchstrasse and was organized by his wife Hannelore. The managing director of the district craftsmen Westfalen-Süd, Matthias Rink, handed over the prestigious master certificate, which not only stands for long professional life, but also recognizes its many years of experience in the craft.

Dietmar Lange entered his parents' footsteps in 1974 and started his training as an office machinery mechanic because the training company was nearby. After completing his training, he initially worked as a journeyman in the field. In 1984 he took over the Rölle company in Olpe, which was previously without successor. From then on, Lange and his wife Hannelore laid the foundation for a successful family company.

From the typewriter to the modern printer

Over the years, the industry experienced significant technological progress. The development of the microchip and the advent of the fax device in particular shaped the craft sustainably. For a long time, the central role of service and customer satisfaction emphasizes. His company has specialized on IT systems, telephone systems, office technology as well as the sale and repair of sewing machines.

In 1999, long office technology moved to today's location in Bruchstrasse. In addition to business success, the company is also known for its training services. Numerous young people trained for a long time, including a federal winner among the trainees. Dietmar Lange is retired, but remains active in the company. His sons Michael and Oliver as well as grandson Julian, who completed his training as an IT system electronics technician, also work in family-owned companies.

in mid-2024 Dietmar will celebrate three important anniversaries: his 50th anniversary, the 40th anniversary of his company and the golden wedding with his wife Hannelore.
