New rent index 2025 for district Olpe: transparency for tenants and landlords!
On March 1, 2025, the new qualified rent index for the district of Olpe and seven associated cities and municipalities came into force. This rent index, which has been replaced by the predecessor for four years and was updated two years ago, has been completely newly created and is intended to provide a variety of information about the local comparative rents. The rental price structure is made transparent, disputes between rental contracts are to be avoided and the information costs for tenants and landlords are reduced. At the same time, the new rent index offers helpful support for courts in disputes.
The creation of the rent index is based on a representative evaluation of non -priced apartments in the district of Olpe. The data collection took place between October 2024 and January 2025. To this end, selected owners and tenants were asked to fill out a standardized questionnaire. The Domus Consult Wirtschaftsberatungsgesellschaft mbH from Hamburg took over the evaluation and scientific processing of this data
accompaniment by the working group "rent index"
The entire process of creation was accompanied by the working group "RentPliegel", which consists of regional actors such as the district of Olpe, cities, tenant and landlord associations, housing cooperatives as well as property management and banks. The management of the working group is responsible for the expert committee for property values in the district of Olpe.
The new rent index is not only informative, but also aims to create transparency in the rental price structure of the non -priced apartments. This is achieved through the performance of comparative rents of various housing categories. In addition, the rent index supports the tenants and landlords in clarifying questions about rental contracts and helps to avoid potential disputes.
