Future heroes of nursing: GFO clinics celebrate successful graduates!

On April 25, 2025, the newly -oriented nurses of the GFO Clinics Southwestphalia were allowed to receive their documents for passing the exams in a solemn ceremony in the GFO School for Nursing Professions in Rhode. The graduates, including both registered nursing staff and nursing assistants, have undergone comprehensive training that included numerous theory and practical hours.

The completion of the training was celebrated by a demanding examination, which consisted of a practical, a written and an oral part. All graduates have successfully completed these exams and are now ready to take over the care of people of all ages in all healthcare areas. Sladjana Blagojevic, deputy nursing director of the GFO Clinics Southwest Falen, expressed a congratulations to the graduates and wished them every success on their career.

Every year, around 1,000 trainees completed various professional fields in the clinics, which illustrates the high demand for specialists in nursing.

This training takes place in close cooperation with the GFO School for Health Professions - further education academy Olpe. Practical missions are carried out both in the clinics and in various cooperation houses, while theoretical lessons are carried out in the training academy in Olpe. Requirements and content of the training

Interested applicants must have at least one secondary school leaving certificate or a secondary school leaving certificate with a completed two -year vocational training or one -year nursing training. In addition, a B2 language level in German is necessary and foreign school qualifications must be recognized.

The training content includes the holistic care of patients: inside, residents: inside and client: inside and cooperation with other professional groups, such as medical and therapeutic service. The trainees receive remuneration steps during the three years, starting at 1,340.69 euros in the first year to 1,503.38 euros in the third year (as of: 03/2024).

In addition, every trainee can count on 30 days of vacation per year and on a stable training position with good takeover and career opportunities. At the end of the training, a degree is awarded that is recognized throughout Europe. Regular feedback talks and individual practical instructions are offered to support the learning process. In addition, the trainees expect diverse additional offers, such as a trainee, discounts on various providers and free health courses, including yoga.
