A particularly remarkable aspect of the program is that the courses take place under the instructions of experienced trainers from local sports clubs. The training locations include the Paderwiesen and the Wilhelmsberg in Neuhaus Castle. The participants are also asked to bring comfortable clothing, a towel or mat as well as a drink. The courses basically take place in any weather, unless there is heavy rain, thunderstorms or hail.

The support from the OWL association bank also contributes to the implementation of this comprehensive offer. It is part of a larger trend that emphasizes the growth and popularity of outdoor sports in Germany. According to a study by the DHFPG, outdoor sport is booming, which not only promotes physical fitness, but also strengthens the immune system and serves as a mental compensation. Participation in “Sport in the Park” could not only offer a possibility for physical activity, but also increase general well -being.
Overall, “Sport im Park” is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, try out new sports and maintain social contacts while staying active at the same time.
