LIBUSCHEWSKI received an offer in the mid-1980s for a full-time position in the youth parish office of Pastor Hans-Jürgen Jaworski and took up his position on February 1, 1989 in the youth department. After the retirement of Jaworski in 2004, he took over the management of the youth department, where he contacted various political and administrative committees and youth welfare committees.
During his career, Libuschewski was also chairman of the Herne city youth ring and took part in various joint actions. He describes the Protestant youth work as a triad of training of employees, diaconal work with disadvantaged children and adolescents as well as the proclamation. The special highlights of his career include the Lighthouse-Week 2010, the introduction of the Conficamp in 2007 and the monthly youth service "Check It Out".
After retiring, Libuschewski plans to spend more time with his family. He is married, has two daughters and a grandchild. His successor in the youth department will be Martin Eckert, who has been working in the facility since 2004 and has already had extensive experience in the management of leisure and youth services.
At a Christmas reception in 2018, which was organized by the youth department "Fishermen’s Office", Libuschewski thanked around 90 volunteers for their cooperation. The evening included a prayer, Christmas carols and an Italian buffet. Libuschenwski emphasizes the importance of the volunteers in the area of child and youth work in Castrop-Rauxel and Herne and motivated those present by saying: "Whoever discovers God as a source of strength for his own life becomes a source of strength for others."
The volunteers received a thermal fabric or tea cup as a Christmas present, which was provided with the imprint "Kraftquelle" and a quote from the apostles Paulus, as well as "https://www.halloerne.de/artikel/libuschski- changerelt-in-den-ruhestand-71948"> HalloHerne.de was.
