Family Doğan in Need: Deportation threatens integration in Remscheid!

The family history of the Doğans from Remscheid has been shaped by dramatic twists in the past few weeks. Despite the challenges in front of which they are facing, the family is actively working to contribute to society.

According to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, Nezir Doğan's asylum application was rejected, even though it is politically persecuted as a Kurd in Turkey. The petition platform Openpetition.de started a call to support the family, which was launched by Önder Bariscioglu on March 20. The aim of this petition is to collect 1,300 signatures from Remscheid in order to draw attention to the inhuman aspects of deportation.
