Remscheid needs a breath of fresh air: gastronomy demands support!

Carsten Pudel, a 48-year-old Remscheider, has lived on the Kremenholl since birth and has made himself known in the city as the organizer of flea markets, street festivals and other events. With his bright factory, he brings a breath of fresh air to the local event and also operates "the small bar". Pudel is actively involved in the Hindenburgstrasse interest group and sees great potential for the city, which in his opinion needs more players and less bureaucracy to implement projects, such as Remscheid/remscheider-verlstiert-pudel-mit-dieser-koenne-man- Mehristen-locken-tdotbcj6qjflncjqbsh455lxci.html"

In order to boost tourism in Remscheid, Pudel recommends visiting the museums, cinema and the events of his bright factory. His passion to organize flea markets is reflected in the fact that he also likes to visit other markets on free weekends. Poodel is also concerned about the increasing garbage in the city, especially about waste glass and paper containers. His vision for Remscheid includes the creation of unique attractions and the expansion of the forest paths to establish more gastronomy and thus promote tourism.

round table to support the gastronomy

The catering industry in Remscheid suffers greatly from the consequences of Corona pandemic and the energy crisis, which was triggered by the Ukraine War. In order to offer the restaurateur in the city, the city initiated a round table gastronomy. This kick -off event was criticized by Marvin Schneider, the chairman of "My Viertel". Schneider calls for proactive measures from the city administration to develop concepts to support the gastronomy, such as

While some participants, including Sascha Hilverkus from Stadtmarketing, positively evaluated the event, other concerns, in particular in terms of neighborhood complaints and approval procedures. The next round table is scheduled to take place at the end of September and is seen as an opportunity to promote stronger networking between the restaurateurs. However, the uncertainty in the industry remains high, especially with regard to possible additional requirements after the attack in Solingen and the question of whether the associated costs can be passed on to customers.
