Burscheid inspires: spring show with dances and singing in the megafon!
On March 19, 2023, the spring show of the Burscheid association took place live in the Megafon children's and youth center. This event marked the revival of the popular event after a three-year Corona failure. Around 200 guests, including Mayor Dirk Runge, came to enjoy the artistic performances.
The Burscheid association, which was founded in 2018 and is committed to an intact environment in Burscheid, celebrated its fifth anniversary with this show. Moderator Martin Krix led through the program, which consisted of a total of seven appearances.
diverse program
The highlights of the spring show included the Dance Corps Rut-Wiess Dabringhausen, which delighted the audience with an impressive mix of high-power dance, lifting figures and A-capella dance. The Düsseldorf musician Julika Elizabeth, who was represented at the ESC preliminary decision in the German final, also captivated the audience with melancholic songs.
The first part of the show was completed by the Burscheider dance studio "Pilates and Dance by Silvia". In the second part of the program, the Diwan El Shark dance studio and the Wermelskirchen Balletschule Modern Movement performed. Especially the vice-world championship couple from Ukraine, Iana and Sergei Rybak ensured an impressive performance.
entry for talents
Another remarkable appearance came from 21-year-old singer Nati Casaluci from Hilden, who enchanted the audience with a selection of Italian songs and other world hits. The event also included contributions from various dance groups, including the cheerleaders of rehabilitation and handicapped sports Burscheid, who took care of meals and offered waffles and drinks.
Uwe Graetke, the chairman of Burscheid Live, expressed his satisfaction with the show and the high number of visitors. The association currently has 40 members, including nine companies and an alliance of various interest groups.
The event was not only a cultural highlight, but also an opportunity to strengthen the community and promote local talents. The admission price was 12 euros for adults and 5 euros for children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 17. Children up to 5 years had free admission. Tickets were available in advance in the Hentschel bookstore or could be purchased at the box office.
With 40 members, the association represents a colorful mix of Burscheider Society that occurs with full conviction for its goals. This spring show will certainly not have been the last event of this kind and will continue to be a cultural attraction in the future.
