Experience the future: Discover the Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences live!
The Rhein-Waal University (HSRW) organized the first “tried and tested lounge” on the Kamp-Lintfort campus last week. This event is part of the NRW wide "weeks of study orientation" that aim to help students and parents in the choice of study. At various exhibition stands, visitors were able to talk to professors and experience campus life up close.
The diverse offers of the event are particularly noteworthy. Exciting experiments and promotions were made available, including the gummy bear factory of the Faculty of Life Sciences and an e-kart garage from the Faculty of Technology and Bionics. The faculty of society and economy was also present with its research on tax evasion. Another highlight was the use of the Pepper University robot, which was presented by the Faculty of Communication and the Environment.future events
The next "tried and tested lounge" will take place on Thursday, January 30th, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Kleve campus. Students have the opportunity to get to know different departments better through interactive experiments. A advance registration via the university's homepage is possible, but not absolutely necessary. Registration is free of charge and non -binding.
Each participant also receives a voucher bracelet that can be redeemed for a free snack in the study café. There is further information on the faculties as well as on courses and career opportunities.
program of the weeks of study orientation
Accompanying the "Tasting Loofen", the program of the "Weekly Study Orientation" includes numerous other offers. Among other things, students have the opportunity to take part in individual consulting days, to get to know the various faculties and to take part in laboratory visits. Workshops on study orientation and the "Meet a Student" campaign enable the participants to gain direct insights into student life.
The next opportunity to find out more about further topics will be on January 31, when workshops for study orientation are offered on the Kleve campus. For those interested, a site plan and information on arrival is also available for both campus.
The Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences pursues a practical approach with its events. This is in line with the project -oriented teaching, which has found its way into many universities and encourages the students to work on practical problems and learn independently. The events are therefore not only a source of information, but also a first step to inspire potential study prospective students for the diverse opportunities at the university.
