Osterschau im Mülheimer Kunstverein: Red Hasen enliven the art scene!

On April 17, 2025, the Mülheimer Kunstverein KKRR cordially invites the public to the upcoming Easter show. As part of this exhibition, visitors will be able to admire the installation "Army of the Red Easter Bunny" by the artist Manfred Dahmen. This event is a successful combination of art and festive atmosphere, which pursues the goal of revitalizing the art scene in Mülheim and beyond.

The Mülheimer Kunstverein KKRR was originally launched in the course of the "Capital of Culture in Ruhr.2010". He has set himself the task of focusing on the needs of the artist. By providing exhibition rooms and studios, the association helps to close an important gap in the regional art scene. In addition, it acts as a platform for creative exchange and visibility.

artistic activities and networking

The association works closely with universities and artists such as Gedok and carries out several annual exhibitions to make the creative potential of the region visible. The program is rounded off by art trips that promote exchange and attract new audiences. Interested parties have the opportunity to participate in the Mülheim artist's association without admission procedures.

The event takes place in Villa Artis at Ruhrstraße 3, 45468 Mülheim. The connection to public transport can be easily reached via the “Stadtmitte-MH” stop. Parking on the "Delle" and "Casino" are available for drivers. Entry to the Osterschau is always free and free tours are offered.

other events in the region

In addition to the Osterschau, the exhibition "Beuys100 Mandatory or Free" can also be seen in the Ruhrkunsthalle. Here, numerous artists, such as Hans Arts, Tanja Bremer and Helmut Junge, present their works and thus show the complexity of contemporary art in the Ruhr area.

The network of art association clock, which has existed since 2007, bundles the forces of several art associations and artists' houses in the cultural metropolis of Ruhr. These institutions act as important places of contemporary art production, presentation and discursive exchange, whereby joint projects such as "Grenzgebietruhr" and "Ruhrresidence" contribute to the promotion of artistic cooperation.

With their commitment to civic engagement and participation in the art scene, the Mülheim art associations make a decisive contribution to the cultural landscape of the region. Due to the diverse offers and events, art and cultural operations are promoted in the long term and remains accessible to a wide audience.
