Love pair of murder accuses: cruel deed in court!

A shocking murder case currently employs the judiciary in Germany. A couple of lovers are suspected of having killed two men last year and burned their corpses. The main hearing at the Koblenz district court begins on May 20, 2024 and will extend until the end of July. The accused, a 51-year-old and a 41-year-old, are said to have murdered the men out of greed in order to gain access to their assets.

The police made the gruesome find of the corpses in October 2023 near the Rodder Maars in the Ahrweiler district, a region that is often visited by tourists. The victims are a 61-year-old man from the Donnersberg district and a 28-year-old from the Altenkirchen district in the Westerwald. The two knew the accused, but there was no connection between them. A terrible motive is based on the deeds: the perpetrators wanted to get access to the older victim's assets. The 61-year-old was lured to Bad Breisig, attacked with a knife, tied up and finally killed with a default hammer.

The 28-year-old, on the other hand, was commissioned to renovate the accused. He had been assured that he could move into an apartment on the ground floor of the house. In order to prevent the agreement and get to his car, he was also tied up and brutally murdered with a fausthammer. Both corpses were then transported to Rodder Maar with the 28-year-old vehicle and burned there to blur the traces of the deeds.
